SCHOLARSHIPS:
♦ M.Eng Scholarship in small wind energy research
DESCRIPTION: A two year scholarship ($12,500/yr) in wind energy research is currently being offered by Memorial University (St. John’s, NFLD), starting January 1st, 2011 sponsored by the NSERC Wind Energy Strategic Network (WESNet). The project will be a collaborative research project between Memorial University and Wind Energy Institute of Canada (WEICan) to better understand small wind turbine power curve relationship to the load type under standard testing conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must:

have a B.Eng in electrical engineering

have good academic perfomance

have an interest in small wind energy conversion

be willing to travel to WEICan (PEI) for field work
